Premium structure with a natural finish

A rigid kraft box gives you the sturdy, set-up construction of a luxury box with the honest look of unbleached kraft paper. Thick chipboard walls protect fragile items like candles, jars and glass bottles, and the brown wrap signals a natural, handmade or organic brand. Customers often keep these boxes for storage, so the packaging keeps working after the product is used.

Lid-and-base boxes suit candles, tea tins and apparel; magnetic closure boxes suit skincare sets and jewelry; drawer boxes suit small accessories and gift cards. Kraft wrap paper comes in smooth and ribbed textures. Paperboard or molded pulp inserts keep the whole package paper-based and hold items securely. For a contrast interior, the inside can be lined with white or colored paper.

Kraft looks most refined with restraint. A single-color logo in black or white ink, or a foil stamp in gold or copper, sits beautifully on brown paper. Embossing and debossing add texture without ink. Keep fine type at a readable size, since kraft fibers soften detail. Our team will place your artwork on the wrap layout and send a digital proof before production.

Options for custom rigid kraft boxes

Box styles

Lid and base, magnetic closure, drawer, hinged lid and collapsible rigid boxes, each wrapped in kraft paper and built to your product dimensions.

Wrap papers

Smooth or ribbed natural kraft papers over rigid chipboard, with optional white or colored liner paper inside for a contrasting interior.

Printing

One- or two-color printing in black, white or deep brand colors reads cleanly on kraft. Inside liners can carry fuller color designs.

Finishes

Foil stamping in gold, copper or silver, plus embossing and debossing, add contrast and texture to natural kraft without heavy ink coverage.

Inserts

Paperboard, kraft-wrapped or molded pulp inserts with cutouts hold candles, bottles and jars upright and keep the package paper-based. Each insert is cut to your product's shape.

Eco options

Ask about recycled-content chipboard and paper-only inserts. Skipping lamination keeps the kraft wrap tactile and easier to recycle with paper.

FAQ

Custom Rigid Kraft Boxes: questions answered

Still unsure? Ask a packaging specialist.

What is a rigid kraft box?

A rigid kraft box is a set-up box made from thick chipboard and wrapped in brown kraft paper. It has the strength and premium feel of a rigid box with the natural, earthy appearance of kraft.

Can you print on rigid kraft boxes?

Yes. Logos and designs can be printed on the kraft wrap, usually in black, white or deep colors, which read clearly on brown. Foil stamping and embossing are popular for a premium but natural look.

Are rigid kraft boxes eco friendly?

Rigid kraft boxes are paper-based, and with paper or pulp inserts and no lamination they stay mostly paper. Recyclability depends on local facilities, so the simpler the build, the easier it is for customers to recycle.

What is the difference between kraft boxes and rigid kraft boxes?

Standard kraft boxes are folding paperboard or corrugated boxes that ship flat. Rigid kraft boxes are made from thick chipboard, arrive assembled and feel heavier, which suits premium gifts and fragile items. Both can carry the same natural kraft look and your printed logo.

How do I order custom rigid kraft boxes?

Send your product dimensions, quantity, box style, logo and insert needs through the quote form. A Vorex specialist replies with pricing, helps with artwork and sends a digital proof for approval before production starts. Mention any foil or embossing so it is quoted.
