Two layers: a pouch that keeps matcha fresh and a box that sells it
Matcha loses its bright color and fresh taste when it meets air, light and humidity, and a box on its own does not stop any of them. The set solves this with two layers. Inside is a zip-lock pouch made from barrier film, such as a foil or metallized lining, that the customer reseals after every scoop. Outside is a printed box that protects the pouch, stands neatly on a shelf and carries your brand story.
Many brands add a heat seal above the zipper, so the pouch stays sealed until the first opening, plus a tear notch so it opens cleanly. The pouch can be plain or printed to match the box. Tell us your fill weight, usually 30 g to 250 g for matcha, and the pouch and box are sized together, so the pouch sits snugly without crushing.
The box is where most of the design goes: grade and origin, how to prepare a bowl or a latte, and a QR code to your recipes. A window can show the printed pouch inside, and a tuck-end or two-piece box suits retail and gift lines. The same set works for other powders and loose teas that need to stay dry.
